Frequently Asked Questions
Booking Soldwell Media
1. What areas does Soldwell Media serve?
We serve most of Metro Atlanta and North Atlanta. Need us outside our standard service area? Just reach out. We’re happy to travel and will do our best to accommodate your property.
2. How do I book a shoot?
Click the Book Now button on our website to access our booking portal through Aryeo. Select your services, provide the property information, and submit your request.
Once we receive it, our team will review the details and confirm your booking.
3. How far in advance can I book?
You can book appointments up to one month in advance through our online booking portal.
If you need to schedule a project more than one month out, contact our team and we’ll help coordinate the date.
4. Can I order individual services instead of a package?
Absolutely. In addition to our packages, we offer à la carte services so you can build exactly what your listing needs.
5. What if I need something that isn't included in your packages?
Reach out to us. Every property and marketing strategy is different, and we’re happy to discuss custom deliverables or combinations of services when possible.
6. When is payment due?
A deposit is required when you book your shoot.
The remaining balance is due when your completed media is delivered.
7. Do you charge a travel fee?
Our standard service area includes properties within a 15-mile radius of East Roswell, Georgia.
For properties outside that radius, a travel fee of $2 per additional mile applies.
For projects significantly outside Metro Atlanta, contact us for a custom travel quote.
Turnaround & Delivery
8. What is your turnaround time?
Most listing media is delivered within 48 hours of the shoot.
Please keep weekends in mind when scheduling. For example, media captured on a Friday may be delivered Monday or Tuesday depending on the services included.
9. Can I receive my media sooner than 48 hours?
In some cases, yes. We may be able to provide same-day delivery for photography depending on our schedule and the size of the project.
Video projects require our standard turnaround time so we can maintain the quality of the final edit.
If you have a tight deadline, let us know before booking and we’ll tell you what is possible.
10. How will I receive my photos and videos?
Your media will be delivered through Aryeo.
Photography and other listing assets will be available through your property delivery page. Full-quality video files may also be provided through a downloadable file link when necessary.
11. Are photos delivered in MLS-ready sizes?
Yes. Photography is delivered in both high-resolution and MLS-ready formats so you have the appropriate files for both online listings and other marketing needs.
12. How long will my media remain available for download?
We intend to keep your media available through our delivery platform for convenient future access.
However, we strongly recommend downloading and securely backing up your final files after delivery. We cannot guarantee indefinite third-party hosting or storage.
Preparing for the Shoot
13. How should my seller prepare the home?
We provide a Pre-Shoot Checklist that you can share with your seller before the shoot.
It covers the most important steps for preparing the property so our team can capture it at its best.
If there is something unique about the home that isn’t covered on the checklist, just reach out.
14. Does the Realtor need to be at the property?
No. Realtors are not required to be present during the shoot as long as our team has clear instructions for accessing the property.
For vacant homes, we recommend providing a separate combination lockbox with an access code rather than relying solely on an agent-only electronic lockbox.
15. How long does a real estate media shoot take?
Shoot times depend on the size of the property and the services you select.
Photography for a typical 3,000-square-foot home may take approximately 45–60 minutes, while larger media packages involving photography, video, drone, floor plans, and other services may require several hours.
For larger packages, we recommend keeping the property available for the majority of the day. We’ll provide a better estimate once we know the property size and services requested.
16. Do you photograph vacant homes?
Yes. We regularly photograph vacant properties.
Just provide clear access instructions when booking so our team can enter the home at the scheduled time.
17. Do you photograph occupied homes?
Yes. We photograph both occupied and vacant homes.
For occupied properties, we ask that homeowners understand our team may occasionally need them to move to another area of the home while we photograph or film certain rooms.
18. What happens if the weather is bad?
We can’t control the weather, but we can work around it.
If weather conditions would significantly affect the quality or safety of the shoot, we can reschedule your appointment at no additional charge.
Rescheduled appointments will be moved to our next available opening. Our team will communicate with you if weather conditions are expected to affect your scheduled shoot.
Photography, Drone & Property Media
19. Do your packages include drone photography and video?
Select Soldwell packages include drone media.
Drone photography and video can also be added individually when available.
If aerial coverage is important to your listing, be sure to include it when booking.
20. Can you fly a drone at every property?
Not always.
Before each shoot, we review the location and surrounding airspace to determine whether we can safely and legally operate a drone.
Certain properties may be located near airports, restricted airspace, or other areas where drone operations are limited or prohibited.
If drone media is included in your package and we are unable to legally fly at the property, we will apply a $50 credit to your booking.
21. Do you offer floor plans and 3D virtual tours?
Yes. We offer 2D floor plans as well as Zillow 3D Home Tours.
These services can be included with select packages or added individually to your booking.
22. What is the difference between a Zillow 3D Tour and a property video?
A Zillow 3D Home Tour allows potential buyers to virtually move from room to room and explore the layout of the property online.
A property video guides viewers through the home using cinematography, music, pacing, and editing.
The two services serve different purposes and work especially well together: video creates emotion and interest, while a 3D tour helps buyers understand the home's layout.
23. Do you offer twilight photography?
Yes. We offer both traditional twilight photography and virtual twilight editing.
If you’re unsure which option is right for your listing, our team can help you decide.
24. Do you offer virtual staging?
Yes. Virtual staging can be added directly to your order through our booking portal.
25. Can you remove objects, cars, cords, or other distractions from photos?
Some distractions can be removed during editing, but not every object can be realistically or efficiently removed.
We strongly recommend preparing the property before the shoot and removing anything you do not want visible in the final media.
If you have a specific editing request, let us know and we can determine whether it is possible.
Video & Social Media
26. Do you create vertical videos for Instagram and social media?
Yes. We create vertical property videos designed for Instagram Reels and other social media platforms.
27. Can I appear and speak in my property video?
Yes. Realtor-led videos are available with select Soldwell packages, including our Showcase and Signature options.
Having the agent on camera can help turn a listing video into content that markets both the property and your personal brand.
28. Do you help with scripts and directing Realtors on camera?
Yes. We can handle both scripting and on-camera direction.
If you plan to appear in the video, please let us know before the shoot so we have time to prepare your script and structure the video around you.
You’ll also have an opportunity to communicate any important details, talking points, or changes you’d like us to consider.
29. Can I request a specific video style?
Absolutely. If you find a video, Reel, or creative style that feels aligned with your brand, send it to us before the shoot.
We can use it as creative inspiration while still producing something that feels original and appropriate for the property.
30. Can I choose the music for my property video?
We recommend trusting our team to select music because commercial videos require properly licensed tracks.
If you have a song or style in mind, send it to us and we’ll see whether we can find an appropriately licensed option that creates a similar feel.
Please understand that many popular songs cannot legally be used for commercial marketing without the proper licensing.
31. Are video revisions included?
Yes. One round of revisions is included with your video.
Additional revision rounds are $50 per round.
To make the revision process as efficient as possible, we recommend sending all requested changes together in one message.
32. Do you offer ongoing social media content for Realtors?
Yes. Soldwell Media offers content creation beyond individual property listings.
We can help Realtors create ongoing short-form video and social media content designed to build their personal brand, stay visible, and connect with potential clients.
Contact us to learn more about our recurring content options.
33. Can Soldwell Media help me create content beyond listing videos?
Yes. Listing media is only one part of what we do.
We can create Realtor-focused social media videos, educational content, brand-driven videos, and recurring short-form content designed to keep you visible even when you aren't promoting a specific property.
Usage Rights & Licensing
34. Where can I use my Soldwell Media photos and videos?
The Realtor or client who purchases the media receives a license to use the delivered content for marketing the property and promoting their real estate business, subject to our service agreement.
This generally includes MLS listings, Zillow, social media, property websites, your Realtor website, email marketing, and similar real estate marketing channels.
If a builder, designer, publication, brand, vendor, or other third party wants to use the media for their own marketing, please contact Soldwell Media first. Their usage may require separate permission or licensing.
35. Who owns the photos and videos?
Soldwell Media retains the copyright and ownership of the media we create.
When you purchase our services, you receive a license allowing you to use the media for the agreed-upon real estate marketing purposes.
This allows you to freely market the property while also protecting the creative work our team produces.
36. Can builders, designers, stagers, or other businesses use photos from my listing?
Not automatically.
The usage license purchased by the Realtor or listing client does not automatically transfer to another business.
If a builder, interior designer, architect, stager, contractor, publication, or other company would like to use Soldwell Media's work for its own website, advertising, portfolio, or social media, please have them contact us regarding usage permission or licensing.
Rescheduling, Cancellations & Reshoots
37. What happens if my listing is postponed or canceled?
We understand that real estate schedules change.
Deposits are non-refundable. However, if the listing is postponed and you notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled shoot, we can move your booking to another available date without an additional rescheduling fee.
If the project is canceled entirely, the original deposit remains non-refundable.
38. What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Appointments may be rescheduled without an additional fee when we receive at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations and changes made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may result in the loss of your deposit and may require a new booking.
Weather-related rescheduling initiated by Soldwell Media will not result in an additional rescheduling charge.
39. What if I'm unhappy with something that was delivered?
Please reach out to us. We want you to feel confident using the media we create.
If something was missed or there was an error on our part, we’ll work with you to correct it.
When necessary, this may include returning to the property to recapture specific images at no additional charge.
40. What if something about the property changes after the shoot?
We understand that properties can change after media has already been captured.
If furniture, landscaping, renovations, staging, paint, décor, or another part of the property changes after the original shoot, additional photography or video will require a new booking.
We’re always happy to help update the property's media, but Soldwell Media cannot be responsible for changes made to the property after the original appointment.
Frequent Clients, Teams & Brokerages
41. Do you offer discounts for Realtors who book frequently?
Yes. Qualified recurring clients and Realtors participating in an eligible brokerage or team program may receive 15% off qualifying packages.
Contact us to learn whether your account, team, or brokerage qualifies.
42. Do you work with real estate teams and brokerages?
Absolutely.
Soldwell Media can work with individual agents, growing teams, and entire brokerages.
We can help establish a consistent media experience across your listings while giving agents access to professional photography, video, drone media, floor plans, and other marketing services.
For teams and brokerages with recurring volume, contact us to discuss preferred pricing and a customized media partnership.
Working With Our Team
43. Will I always work with the same photographer?
You may request a particular Soldwell photographer when booking, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your preference.
However, we cannot guarantee that a specific team member will be available on every requested date.
44. How does Soldwell maintain consistent quality between photographers?
Our team follows Soldwell's established shooting standards, editing style, property coverage guidelines, and quality-control process.
While every photographer brings their own experience to a property, the final product is created to maintain a consistent Soldwell look and experience regardless of which team member handles your shoot.
That means you’re hiring Soldwell Media, not simply one individual photographer.
45. Why should I hire Soldwell instead of photographing the listing myself?
You absolutely can photograph a property yourself. The bigger question is whether that is the best use of your time.
Soldwell Media specializes in presenting homes professionally and consistently while handling the photography, video, editing, drone media, and other production details for you.
Our job is to take media production off your plate so you can spend more time winning listings, serving your sellers, marketing yourself, and growing your business.
Great media doesn't just make the property look better. It helps you look better to your current and future clients.
